Our Roots

At Ed-Ball, every baseball is individually hand-crafted by my wife and me, inspired by a deeply personal mission. The name “Ed-Ball” stands for “Educational Ball,” created to help players learn how to throw with proper mechanics while reducing the risk of injury.

This journey began with my own story: as a high school athlete, I injured my shoulder, ending what should have been my fourth varsity season. That injury, combined with the challenge of teaching my family how to throw, revealed a gap in the tools available to athletes. Current baseballs focus on pitch grips for fastballs, change-ups, and curveballs, but none address the foundation—proper throwing mechanics.

With my injury, my family’s support, and an idea, Ed-Ball was born. Our innovative training ball helps players self-correct their throws, improve technique, and build confidence through healthier, more effective play. It’s more than a product—it’s a mission to shape the next generation of baseball and softball players.

Ed-Ball is also about connection. We want families to get outside, share a game of catch, and create memories that last a lifetime. As a small, family-run business, we’re balancing raising kids, working full-time, and chasing this dream, fueled by the belief that every throw can make a difference.

Thank you for supporting our mission. Together, we’re creating a stronger, safer, and more connected community of ballplayers—one throw at a time. Follow us on Facebook and Instagram to join the journey!

Founder’s Personal Note

Ed-Ball is a tribute to my late older brother, Edward. Known as “Ed,” “Eddo,” or most famously, “King Eddo,” he was the epitome of a big brother – teaching me resilience, love, and the importance of pushing forward. His guidance and wisdom, encapsulated in tough but needed phrases like “Don’t be sorry, be better” and “Good athletes know their limits. Great athletes have no limits,” have shaped who I am today. Through Ed-Ball, I hope to carry on his legacy by teaching what he taught me, as any big brother should. Edward, I love you forever and always.

Founder, Isaac Garcia
